Our Story
Maxability, founded in 2009 by Anita and Emile Woolf, aims to empower disabled adults in London Borough of Barnet. The charity, driven by their son Carl Woolf's deafness and physical challenges, fosters creative growth through inclusive ceramics workshops. Situated at the Flightways Centre near Colindale, Maxability offers a well-equipped pottery studio, fostering a nurturing and imaginative space for participants. In 2015, Maxability attained charitable status (Charity No. 1162002), marking a formal recognition of its commitment to enriching the lives of disabled individuals.
